Sexual Health and Awareness

Everyone needs to use condoms to protect against Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’s). Condoms and other forms or contraception are free from your GP, young people’s contraceptive services or family planning clinics.

It’s against the law for people under the age of 16 to have sex. However, you can still get confidential contraceptive advice from a doctor or nurse if you are below this age.

You may feel like this:

Your unsure of what sorts of contraception’s are available to you in order for you to keep yourself safe against sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies or you may be concerned that you are already suffering as a result of not gaining access to contraception.

We can help you by:

Offering support through listening to your concern and when it is felt needed referring you to agencies that are trained specifically to help in areas in sexual health.
